wood hall hotel wedding (pt.2)
Wood Hall Hotel & Spa wedding photos for Sarah & Jim.
So now that our happy couple – Sarah & Jim – have now seen their wedding photos,
I’m pleased to share a few more with you from the day.
Wood Hall Hotel and Spa provided the perfect backdrop for a splendid wedding reception following their ceremony at the picturesque St Mary’s church in their home village of Church Fenton.
After a week or so of almost endless rain & wind, we were blessed with a gorgeous sunny spring day.
Sarah’s chosen colour scheme of lemon & yellow emphasised this feeling of spring.
Her six bridesmaids had beautiful bejewelled lemon gowns accessorised by silver & grey pashminas.
The flowers & button holes were of miniature daffodils & narcissi, which looked pretty & had a lovely delicate scent.
The wedding cars were classic models that sported a black and white livery to reflect the grandure of the Wood Hall Hotel backdrop.
On the way to the reception we paused along the route to take a few photos with the Wood Hall Hotel in the background.
We were amused at the fact that a horse decided to photo bomb some of the proceedings and seemed to want to be included in the photos. So its only fair to add him in here.
The staff at Wood hall welcomed Sarah & Jim with champagne and served canapés for the guests.
We took the opportunity to have some “couple time” for some “special” photos in the gardens and get a little more used to being husband & wife.
On returning to the hotel, we discovered that one of the guests had arranged a very special surprise for Jim – an avid football supporter – with a brief meeting and photo shoot with Sol Bamba.
The evening went well too, with all the guests dancing the night away…
…and whilst they were doing so, we popped out for just one more photo at the garden entrance at Wood Hall. It has ended up as one of their favourites of the day.
Well, that about rounds it up for Sarah & Jim, all that’s left to do is to choose the photos for the wedding album.
So, till next time…
Ian

wedding photos, bridge inn wetherby
We’ve not been over to take wedding photos at the Bridge Inn, Wetherby for over a year now, so just needed to say how pleased we were to be back.
Celebrating their wedding day, Sarah & Mark must have done something right for them to be blessed with the beautiful sunshine, especially after the stormy weather of late.
Sarah & Mark booked their wedding photos at the bridge inn, wetherby, with us quite a while ago and it was really good to get together with them along with their families and friends at the Bridge Inn.
Good service comes as standard at the Bridge Inn with all of the staff being happy and willing to look after their guests. The grounds are always well kept and the standards at the hotel rank well against the local alternatives.
Here’s a few photos from the day.
We wish Sarah & Mark all the very best for the future and look forward to sending the wedding photos from the bridge inn on to them.
Wedding photos, Bridge Inn, Wetherby, now boasts a recently added feature of a “wedding gazebo” which provides excellent photo opportunities when the weather is fine, for outdoor weddings, and is an attractive addition for the already lovely gardens at the Bridge Inn.

Wedding fayre Hazlewood Castle 2014 and why I won’t be going.
Wedding fayre Hazlewood Castle 2014 – A strange headline you may think, but there are genuine reasons for not attending the Hazlewood Castle wedding fayres or many others for that matter.
I must state right from the off that I have no axe to grind with Hazlewood Castle and if the truth be known, I really like the all of the staff who look after their wedding couples really well. No, there’s nothing against booking your wedding day at Hazlewood at all, its a fantastic wedding venue.
Try as I might, I can’t really justify the seemingly hefty price tag to attend.
The last wedding fayres at Hazlewood Castle that I was party to, cost me over £250.00 Now fairly, that cost has to be found from somewhere and guess who ultimately pay’s? That’s right, YOU.
So how do I attract clients for Hazlewood Castle? Simple…recommendations.
By not attending every wedding fayre around in today’s scene, allows me to keep my prices at a more reasonable level than those who have to afford a multitude of exhibitions.
Hopefully you will agree when you visit my price page. These prices do not compromise our usual high standards of quality. We’re proud of our value for money wedding photography packages and I would encourage you to visit the page.
So here’s to those of you who are prepared to delve a little deeper that the first set of internet results that they come across. Wedding fayre Hazlewood Castle 2014 ? I don’t think so.
Should you have any questions about the many facets of wedding photography, please feel free to call me on 07903 646186 or email me here.
Yours, as ever
